Young Entrepreneurs in the UK
There is no doubt that we all want to be successful in our careers. We dream to be as these amazing entrepreneurs as Richard Branson or Mark Zuckerberg. However, how many of us have the courage to convert ideas into actions? Starting your own business may be hard. Nobody says it is easy, but if you never try you will never find out how great your ideas are.
It appears that there are young entrepreneurs in the UK who are brave enough to stand out from the crowd and start their own business. For the last two years Startups.co.uk has published a list of promising young entrepreneurs. Readers may be surprised, but there are even 16-year-old entrepreneurs brave enough to jump into deep waters.
We at Marker-Inspector decided to analyse the profiles of these young entrepreneurs in order to find what the current trends and the key features of these fresh business people are.
It appears that males are more eager to take the risk of starting a new business. 71% of the examined entrepreneur youngsters are men and just 29% are women. And if you think that you are too young for the business world, then think again because as we already mentioned, the youngest entrepreneurs here are 16-year-old. Not surprisingly, most of the new startups are in the area of software, apps, online journals and IT. However, you should not limit your horizons to such areas - if you have an idea which rocks, then go for it.
Check out if your profile matches with these young entrepreneurs. Don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t though. If you are brave, creative and hard-working, you have high chances of succeeding with your business idea.
